Presentation Collaboration

Collaboration imagePresentation Sisters, co-workers and volunteers are involved in a wide range of programmes and centres that promote education, social inclusion, community development, sustainable living and spirituality. See our links page for the full ranges of projects.

Presentation Ireland is facilitating the Presentation Collaboration Project in response to the call in the Congregational Direction: to collaboration as our way of being in community and ministry, and in all our structures of leadership.

The purpose of the project is to see if greater collaboration can lead to improved outcomes for our service users, and in what ways.  Our belief is that engaging in collaborative work is crucial for the sustainability and even survival of Presentation work at a time of dwindling resources. In the words of Charles Darwin: “In the long history of humankind, those who learned to collaborate and improvise most effectively have prevailed.”

Collaboration can open us to new ideas, to learn from each other, to new ways of operating and increasing influence for change. This includes collaboration with our service users, who can be our greatest advocates and who can offer valuable insights into our services.
